The Perfect DIY!

I adored this concept! Just had to share it... Here is how:

1. Select a large fruit or vegetable that will hold your variety of flowers. Cut the very top off of fruit or vegetable with a knife.

2. Carve a 3 inch round/deep opening in fruit or vegetable.

3. Carve floral foam to fit inside of votive holder.

4. Put floral foam inside of votive holder and place into the fruit or vegetable opening.

5. Pour water into votive holder.

6. Snip the stems of flowers and arrange them however you like and stick them one by one into the foam.

Styled Beautifully...

Oh la la. What a beautiful and rustic look. I quite love the sparkle of those jugs, an itsy bitsy bit glam, but still charming and feminine. I quite love flowers in interesting vessels, I often use my teapots to hold little bunches, makes them just that bit more interesting. x

Strange Habits

Luke and my best friend Kate are just perplexed why I love drinking out of glass jars rather than a traditional glass. I always say with the glass jar and the straw make the water taste much better. They both think i'm a bit mad because of it! I spotted this wedding and thought, this event has the same passion of jars as a drinking glass as me, and, the styling is just so mighty pretty! Raining colour

It's raining and pouring paper pom poms and lanterns! How amazing is that colour and those flowers on the tables, so deconstructed and unexpected but so delightful nonetheless! I also adore paper lanterns outdoors as well, perhaps this year our little tree out the back will the tall enough to hang lovely trinkets from this summer. Kellie xx
